Extrusion is the method whereby ice cream is forced out through a tube and sliced into sections with a wire. It enables the creation of complex designs like faces or fruit slices.

If you're planning to produce novelty ice creams or 'Disney' characters, extrusion is the way to go.

Running at 200 cuts per minute, Tetra Pak's extrusion equipment is almost twice as fast as any of our competitors'. Since large volumes of product can be extruded from a single tube, you get a high output per line.

Our experts can support you with in-house tests of complex designs at our dedicated ice cream Product development Centre in Denmark. This means you can enjoy a vertical start-up when you commission your own line.

Our extrusion equipment integrates the production units you need all - the way from raw material input to product wrapping and cartoning.

The Tetra Pak Sandwich unit LT is an ice cream sandwich module for producing high quality uncoated sandwich products.
