A purpose that unites us

Creating an environment where we all feel we belong is an important part of our purpose.

In practice, this means that our work environment should make everybody feel comfortable to bring their whole self to work, everyone should have equal access to opportunities to develop and grow and that our workforce should reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are essential for our growth, for delivering our strategy and for fulfilling our purpose. We know that when we have a diverse and inclusive culture, that’s when we produce our most innovative work. In support of our ambition, we have three global areas of focus: inclusion for all, wellbeing for all and gender diversity.

Our global focus areas

Inclusion for all

We’re committed to taking action to ensure that our company is diverse and inclusive. By fostering an inclusive culture, we hope to create an environment where different perspectives are listened to, in which everyone feels they can bring their authentic selves to work and can express themselves freely without fear of judgement or discrimination.

Wellbeing for all

We ensure everyone is supported to be their best selves at work. To us, that means prioritising everyone’s physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace. Our Mental Wellbeing Programme was launched to raise awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing and to create conversations within our teams. Our Employee Assistance Programme provides Tetra Pak employees and their family members with counselling services, resources and information on personal and work-related issues.

Gender diversity

We’re investing in the development and progression of women across our business, including in our Future Talent and Accelerated Leadership Programmes. We recognise women in STEM industries are underrepresented globally, and that’s something we’re committed to changing. We’re also focused on improving our gender diversity in our factories and production sites.
