Tetra Pak® UF system P is a pre-engineered system for concentrating protein in milk and whey streams. It uses ultra-filtration, a membrane filtration process that concentrates milk or whey proteins in dairy streams, allowing processors to make value-added dairy products such as high-value protein concentrates that can be sold or used as an ingredient in more refined products.

Spiral-wound membranes
Spiral-wound membranes deliver the high-quality concentration needed to optimize the production process and product yield when concentrating milk or whey proteins. The multiple complex layers inside each membrane work together to deliver an efficient filtration process.
Pre-engineered design
A pre-engineered design makes Tetra Pak® UF system P more price-competitive than a customized system and enables a faster delivery time. The format makes for quick installation. A compact footprint minimizes space requirements. The unit is easy to maintain and designed to meet our rigorous hygiene standards.

Tetra Pak® UF system P can operate at different capacities depending on the chosen membrane configuration and product concentration factor.
Tetra Pak® UF system P - US version
The US version can operate at two different capacities for milk and whey respectively, depending on the choice of membrane configuration and product concentration factor. Capacities range from 75K-185K lbs/hr for skim milk and 60K-125K lbs/hr for sweet whey.
