Tetra Pak joins earthquake relief efforts in Morocco

Lausanne, Switzerland 22 September 2023: We remain deeply saddened by the impact of the devastating earthquake in Morocco. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by this tragic event.

To support local relief efforts, we have teamed up with our dairy customers to donate long shelf-life packaged UHT (ultra-high temperature) milk to the disaster-stricken population of the El Haouz region. In addition, we are working with the Moroccan Red Crescent, a non-profit humanitarian organisation, to provide prefabricated houses to nearly 200 people in the Taroudant region whose homes were destroyed by the earthquake. We thank our employees for their volunteering efforts to support the local community.

This is in addition to the local voluntary actions and donations of our employees in the country. Our heartfelt thanks to them as well as the rescuers, relief organizations and volunteers working on the ground.
