The Tetra Pak® Pump Station centrifugal 100 M2A is a pump station for optimized chocolate circulation and feeding
Quick facts
Unit to keep chocolate or other coating matter at a steady temperature
Capacity
10 - 900 l/hr
Applications
Chocolate or other coating matter for ice cream products – with or without inclusions
Water circulation system
A water pump circulates water in the tank’s water jacket, ensuring an even distribution of heated water throughout the tank. This keeps the coating inside the tank at the right temperature and enables consistent product quality with less chocolate giveaway.
Frequency inverter pump speed control
The viscosity of the product and the pump pressure together determine system speed. Thanks to this optional feature, pump capacity can be adjusted on the fly. In other words, the operator can visually control production results and, if necessary, increase circulation without stopping the equipment.
Remote control
When there is signal from the dipping system, the pump starts to refill it automatically. This means the operator no longer needs to start and stop the system, just to feed more coating matter into the pump station’s tank.
Dry stuff unit
A hopper with an Archimedes screw feeder is mounted on top of the pump station. The screw is equipped with a gear motor, making it possible to change the speed of the auger and adjust the amount of dry ingredients being delivered into the chocolate or other coating matter mix.
At the Tetra Pak Ice Cream PDC you can experiment with the latest ice cream processing solutions in a complete production environment at semi-industrial scale.
