If you're planning to produce novelty ice creams or 'Disney' characters, extrusion is the way to go. Running at 200 cuts per minute, Tetra Pak's extrusion equipment is almost twice as fast as any of our competitors. Since large volumes of product can be extruded from a single tube, you get a high output per line. Our experts can support you with in-house tests of complex designs at our dedicated ice cream Product development Centre in Denmark. This means you can enjoy a vertical start-up when you commission your own line. Our ice cream extrusion equipment integrates the production units you need all - the way from raw material input to product ​wrapping.

Extrusion Tunnels

There are two main Tetra Pak Extrusion Tunnel models to choose from: the compact and self-contained Tetra Pak® Extrusion Tunnel M and the extremely versatile Tetra Pak® Extrusion Tunnel A3. Each Tetra Pak® Extrusion Tunnel functions as an integrated processing line incorporating product transfer to a suitable wrapping and/or packaging system.

The Tetra Pak ​Extrusion Tunnel A3 introduces a new generation of extrusion lines to the ice cream industry. The design of the tunnel is based on a new concept (patent pending) that improves airflow and increases hardening efficiency. This state-of-the-art model provides full product versatility, set-up flexibility, advanced electronic synchronisation and exceptional hygienic standards.​​​
