Our sustainability approach

Why 'Go Nature. Go Carton.'?

At Tetra Pak, we’re on a journey to deliver the world’s most sustainable food packaging. Today there are several challenges with packaging today: From greenhouse gas emissions, plastic waste in our environment and expanding landfills to the depletion of finite resources and limited recyclability.

Our aim is to create cartons made solely from plant-based materials that are fully renewable, fully recyclable and carbon-neutral. It is all part of our journey to deliver the world’s most sustainable food package.

Protecting Planet - How We Do It

Our approach to protecting the planet comes from our commitment to a low-carbon circular economy. We have worked for years to reduce the environmental impact and increase the renewability and recyclability of our packages.

We are contributing to a low-carbon society by striving to minimise impact across our entire value chain. We are protecting biodiversity and establishing water stewardship. We are also promoting recycling and circularity, through our own activities and through partnerships worldwide.
