School sustainability programme

We launched a recycling school program in Lagos targeting 33 schools, with a total of more than 10.000 students, focusing on raising awareness and educating children on the recyclability of carton packages and the recycling process.

To make it easier for kids to visualize the process and learn about carton recycling, in addition to giving out special workbooks, we set up a demonstration with an adapted blender to recreate live, in front of the kids.

The initiative counted with the participation of brand CHI, which distributed products to the kids, and recycler Belpapyrus, which provide tissue rolls for kids and teachers, as a well to show an example of an end product of the recycling process.

Sorting bins made from recycled beverage cartons were distributed to the schools and all the material collected was sent for recycling.
