Noise is an occupational hazard for dairies worldwide. Because they rotate at such high speeds, separators have the potential to contribute to that noise. Tetra Pak’s low-noise separators avoid that pitfall thanks to a unique water-filled insulation shell that radically dampens the decibels emitted by the machine.
A low-noise separator reduces overall noise load and thus indirectly enables plant operators and engineers to spend longer periods on the factory floor if necessary.

Tetra Pak separators come equipped with a stainless steel insulation “skin” filled with water. The skin combined with the water substantially cut the number of decibels a separator emits when in full operation.
The shell also cuts energy consumption by dispersing heat and keeping the separator cool, reducing the need to cool the dairy environment.
