Together with a lid chute on a filling machine, the Tetra Pak® Lid Unscrambler unit A1 has a high level of automation
and offers convenient, ergonomic lid-loading. The machine features a robust stainless steel frame and sorts unstackable lids in a random orientation out of a supply hopper into a defined orientation on a higher level. There is no need for lid dispenser magazines – the operator just puts the lids on the hopper and the unit handles the sorting.
Quick facts
Unscrambles, sorts and transfers unstackable lids for round containers.
Capacity
Standard version: Up to 300 lids/minute (e.g. 6-wide filler)
Compact version: Up to 100 lids/minute (e.g. 2-wide filler)
(Based on a lid diameter of 100 mm)
Loading of unstackable lids
The operator can empty a box of circular lids onto the hopper, and Tetra Pak® Lid Unscrambler unit A1 takes care of the sorting. There is no need for lid dispenser magazines.
Premium design
The Tetra Pak® Lid Unscrambler unit A1 is constructed in a robust, stainless steel frame. It is swivel-mounted to adjust the inclination of the conveyor and the tipping point of the lids.
Air nozzles
The airstream that transfers the lids to the filling machine comes from air nozzles placed on top of the unscrambler. At the end of a production run, the airstream can be turned off and the lids discharged over the top and into a box placed on the backside of the machine.
Sensor alert
The machine is equipped with sensors and indicates when it needs to be reloaded.
Dry area placement
A long lid conveyor system allows the Tetra Pak® Lid Unscrambler unit A1 to be placed outside the wet floor production area of the filling machine. That means the packaging can be handled on dry floor, out of the high-risk production area.
