The unit is mounted as a workstation on the extrusion line worktable. It can use different materials such as caramel, ripple or chocolate compound, and you can combine different flavours, build layers or create elaborate decorations. Just use the software to create or select a design – and print it. You can make an infinite number of new products without any additional equipment.

Expertise and partnership

The software lets you develop your designs independently. And to get you started, we let you take advantage of Tetra Pak’s ice cream production know-how. We work together to design your first product and test it in our Product Development Centre. We optimise the decoration material for your product, we fine-tune the recipe, we make sure to apply the right pressure and temperature – all to help you create a product that meets your customers' expectations.

High precision and repeatability

The designs can be very detailed thanks to the 48-hole nozzles and the correct viscosity of the material, maintained by the unit's tank and pump system. As a result, you get a high level of design precision and can produce new products quickly. Furthermore, high repeatability is guaranteed as the unit’s precision ensures that the decoration design looks the same on every ice cream product. You can store numerous different decoration designs. And in addition, design uniformity allows the reduction of production waste.

High flexibility

You can easily change from one design to another and create new products without the need for other equipment. The solution allows for infinite changes and decoration options – from full coverage and layers to pattern prints.

No product – no print – no mess

A sensor registers if there is a product on the tray. If the product is missing, the unit pauses the decoration. Trays stay clean, and the material is not wasted.

Low operational cost

The precision of the decoration depositing ensures that just the right amount of decoration material is deposited. Therefore, costs are minimized – all products look good and consistent, deviations are minimal and you avoid using more material than necessary.

The software

The design of patterns are created in the Design Studio software. The designs are then uploaded to the unit, which controls the printer heads. A process research, where we develop the recipe – the design and compound in combination – together with you, is included when you purchase a unit. You can choose to develop new recipes yourself, or through process research together with us.
