Fourth-generation ice cream makers Rasmus and Anders Eibye run niche producer Hansens Flødeis in Jægerspris, Denmark . The two brothers take great pride in managing the whole process from raw milk to the finished product, a premium ice cream rich in taste and in the form of sticks, waffles, cups and tubs.
The company uses only natural ingredients and the ice cream is 100 percent organic and made without additives. The premium vanilla is grown in Madagascar and Congo, and the chocolate comes from award winning Friis-Holm. Hansen's sorbet flavours contain 60 to 80 percent fresh fruit.
The company uses three generations of freezers, all from Tetra Pak
"The freezer is the heart of the production line and is a key investment for an ice cream producer. We must rely on it every day to make premium ice cream the way we want it. As a company that is set to keep growing and innovating, it's a comfort for Hansen's Flødeis to have a reliable partner such as Tetra Pak."
- Rasmus Eibye, Operational Manager at Hansens Flødeis
