Tetra Pak® Automatic Bag Former uses tubular rolls of film to manufacture either flat or gusseted bags, delivering them to the blockformer which ejects the cheese block into the bag. Tetra Pak Automatic Bag Former works optimally with Tetra Pak® Blockformer system 6 but can be adopted to other block forming systems.
The Tetra Pak Automatic Bag Former offers unique benefits to the cheese industry. It combines the reliability and labour-saving functions of automatic bag-loading with the benefits of purchasing bag material of your choice in roll format reducing the volume of materials for handling and storage and the overall bag cost.
Reduced cost
Bags are manufactured from a roll of film material which is specified by you for your unique cheese needs. The machine can be configured to work with both lay-flat and gusseted bag material, accurately feeding the proper amount of material to provide the bag length that you desire. While most customers opt for the highly reliable single seal to save film cost, an optional dual seal is available. Regardless of the bag you prefer, your overall cost is less than it would be with a pre-manufactured bag.
Reduced labor savings
The proven high reliability means that human interaction with the machine is all-but-eliminated. Additionally, fewer failures means less rework of your product. Finally, the machine can run a full shift on a single roll of material which means little intervention from operators for loading of material.
Increased line efficiency
Manual reworking of blocks is nearly eliminated, providing higher quality product. Automated loading of bags can keep up with the blockformers with no distractions providing less line stoppage. With the optional film trolley and additional spindles, reel material can be prepared in advance to shorten the time required for film changes. Finally, the machine is designed for fast and easy removal from the blockformer and conveyor to ease access to the equipment and speed cleaning.
