Smart and compact reliability
By combining a small footprint with high production output, the Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Smart Filler A1 is a smart choice for ice cream cups, pints and other small- to medium-sized containers. The design is solid and robust, and the sloping surfaces in stainless steel make the machine hygienic and easy to clean.

4-wide cup heat seal setup: 12 000 products/hour
Applications
Ice cream, sorbet and water-ice products.
Sturdy stainless steel frame
The bended and welded one-piece filler frame is the sturdy and solid foundation for a large variety of equipment. No vibration or movement for best product quality and reliable production.
Sealed drive area
The drive area is sealed and separate from the production area – they are on different sides of the frame, which ensures product safety. The lamella index and the lifting station drive system are in a sealed machine cabinet, separated from the production area. As the mechanical linkages and cams are not in the production area, less time is needed for cleaning. The drive area is easily accessible by opening the doors on the back side.
Designed for safety
Tetra Pak® Ice Cream Smart Filler A1 fulfills all legal demands on operator safety. During the design and assembly phase, every machine is safety risk-assessed before delivery. The safety guards allow visual inspection during inspection and are made from perforated sheet metal, according to CE regulations. Certain areas have safety switch-controlled doors to allow fast access for troubleshooting or adjustment after stopping the machine.
Minimal need for tools
Many parts and product size-related equipment can be changed without tools. The lamellas have keyholes that lock to a pin on the chain without use of tools and the equipment only needs a twist by a spanner to be securely fastened onto the machine. Minimal adjustment is needed after changing. There are different programs for each SKU to reduce the time for program settings and adjustments. This means less downtime and more production time.
Plug-and-play mobility
The complete electric control system is placed in the integrated machine cabinet, which is separated from the pneumatic and mechanic cabinet. By connecting utilities like electrical power, compressed air, water and ice cream piping the machine is ready to produce. The machine is on wheels - after a production run, it can be rolled out so the production floor can be used for other purposes.
Cup dispenser and control system
The cup dispenser has a precise box-motion gripper and double interlock system to separate all kind of cups and tubs. Even hard-to-separate cups will be dispensed without having to rely on a vacuum system. The cup control system detects the presence of a cup in the lamella and controls downstream equipment like topping, heat-sealing and lidding to reduce the waste of packaging material and possible failures.
Filling and decoration
Many different filling and decoration units are available, depending on which product you want to produce. You can also run different products in different lanes, and do changeover by just changing machine program.
Heat sealing of lid
The lid dispenser places the membrane on the cup with exact precision. The integrated point sealer dot-welds the membrane into place, and the temperature-, pressure- and time-controlled heat sealing heads weld the membrane to the cup and seal the product for highest product safety.
