We recognise the importance of a culture focused on health, safety, and well-being1, with initiatives in occupational health and safety (OHS) to ensure safe working conditions for all employees.
With more than 24,300 employees in 100 offices and 51 production plants spread over 160 countries where Tetra Pak has sales, we work hard to ensure the safety and well-being of our workforce across geographic boundaries. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees with comprehensive occupational health and safety measures.
We strive for a truly diverse workforce, where every employee is respected, included, engaged, offered fair opportunities, and treated equally, regardless of background.
Our continued efforts on occupational health & safety (OHS) over the past few years ensured a reduction in our Total Recordable Accident Rate (TRAR) from 2.12 to 1.82. This shows a year-on-year reduction of 45% in TRAR since the beginning of 2020. An increased focus on improving reporting and investigating incidents through a global software platform, MyOHS, has delivered further engagement. All incidents with high potential severity now have greater scrutiny from senior management to drive awareness and ensure learnings are shared, globally.
Employee health and mental well-being are strong global focuses across the company. Our mental well-being programme was established, equipping people with tools, training, and support services to raise awareness and destigmatise mental health issues:
For Tetra Pak to continue to be successful and grow, we recognise that all individuals who work here must also grow too, which means fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
From attracting new talent through our Future Talent Programme to promoting learning and development of existing talent, through courses, new roles and challenges.
